We're a little bit Disney mad
We're a small team of UK Disney superfans. We've been visiting Walt Disney World since 1995, we've been on several Disney cruises, we're Disney Vacation Club members, and we've made most of the planning mistakes so you don't have to.

Why we started Diznee Mad
Planning a Disney trip from the UK is a big job. There's a lot to take in, from which parks to do on which days, to what's worth paying extra for and how to stop the budget running away with you. Most advice online is written for Americans who can pop over for a long weekend. We wanted somewhere that speaks to UK visitors: long-haul flights, school holidays, pounds not dollars, and trips you've saved up for.
Our promise to you
- 💷 We'll save you money. Real ways to make a Disney holiday more affordable, and what's worth splashing out on.
- ⏱️ We'll save you time. Less queuing, less planning stress and more time actually enjoying the magic.
- 🙋 We'll tell it straight. Honest opinions, including the things we don't think are worth it.
Disney is for everyone
Most Disney advice assumes you're a family with young kids. That's only part of the story. The parks work at every age: toddlers meeting their heroes, teenagers hitting the big coasters, grandparents on their first visit, and couples who just fancy a food festival and the fireworks without a nap schedule in sight. Diznee Mad covers all sides, with family-friendly tips alongside grown-up ideas for making the most of the parks.
Where our advice comes from
Walt Disney World is our home turf. Everything we write about Florida comes from our own trips, and as Disney Vacation Club members we can share what it's really like, from booking points to staying in the villas.
We've sailed with Disney Cruise Line several times too, so our cruise tips come from first-hand experience: choosing a stateroom, what's included, and how a cruise compares with a park holiday.
We also cover Disneyland Paris and Disney's other parks around the world. Where we haven't been ourselves yet, we'll always say so. Those guides are carefully researched and checked, never passed off as our own experience.
